Josh Mittledorf, evolutionary biologist and aging expert, reviews the current state of money in aging research and gives AHNP (now Apollo Health) high marks.
How much money is going into aging research? The information is not so easy to come by. This interview estimated that companies working on medical solutions to aging have a market cap of $300 billion as of 2018. I’m guessing this number is rather too optimistic. This Business Insider article counted $850 million in venture capital funding in 2018.
