PreCODE is an online community and information service for anyone interested in the prevention of cognitive decline and brain health optimization. PreCODE is intended for individuals who are asymptomatic and interested in preventing cognitive decline and promoting brain health optimization. It was designed for those of any age with any family history of dementia, risk factors such as pre-diabetes or inflammation, and for all of us who are over 45 years of age.

The Science Behind PreCODE

Internationally recognized expert in the mechanisms of neurodegenerative diseases, Dr. Dale Bredesen, has over 30 years of research into the causes of Alzheimer’s and cognitive decline. Dr. Bredesen’s research has shed light on the counterintuitive roadblocks, the variety of “insults” in modern society that keep us from preserving and improving our brain health. These insults, such as inflammation, insulin resistance, resistance to specific pathogens in our environment, and multiple other factors, contribute to cognitive decline and happen in our bodies over time, often taking less than a decade to manifest, negatively impacting our brain health.

Inspired by Dr. Bredesen’s research and discoveries, the PreCODE protocol provides you with the tools needed to defend yourself against these insults and optimize for improved cognition.

PreCODE’s program features:
  • Practitioner Locator Tool to build your prevention team.
  • A PreCODE Report, generated through Apollo Health’s lab partner or a trained ReCODE Practitioner (Labs not included & only available to U.S. residents). Download a sample report here.
  • Custom curated content & guides.
  • Complimentary BrainHQ account for brain stimulation workouts.
  • Cognitive assessments after a NeuroQ Evaluation.
  • Online support forums.
  • Nutrition summary – Apollo Health’s KetoFLEX 12/3 diet.
  • iPhone, Apple Watch, and iPad apps.
  • Quarterly Town Hall videos.

If you generate a PreCODE Report, we recommend consulting with a PreCODE-certified practitioner to best interpret report results and plan your roadmap toward brain health optimization.

There are several PreCODE annual membership plans available, billed monthly, annually, or at a discounted rate, and those are:

The PreCODE Test Panel List can be found here. Please note that labs are only available to U.S. residents.

Alzheimer’s Disease

Alzheimer’s disease is currently ranked as the sixth leading cause of death in the United States. The first description of the reversal of cognitive decline in patients with early Alzheimer’s disease or its precursors, mild cognitive impairment (MCI) and subjective cognitive impairment (SCI), was recently published. The therapeutic approach used was programmatic and personalized rather than monotherapeutic and invariant and was dubbed Metabolic Enhancement for Neurodegeneration (MEND). The program is designed to accommodate and support your PreCODE treatment for prevention and reversal of cognitive decline. Treatment must continue to maintain an effective reversal of cognitive decline and continued improvement. Patients who had to discontinue work were able to return to work, and those struggling at work improved their performance.

Dale Bredesen, MD

Dr. Bredesen’s career has be

en guided by a simple idea: that Alzheimer’s and cognitive decline as we know it is not just preventable, but reversible. Thanks to a dedicated pursuit of finding the science that that makes this a reality, his idea has placed Dr. Bredesen at the vanguard of neurological research and led to the discoveries that today underlie the PreCODE Report.

The End of Alzheimer’s Program

In The End of Alzheimer’s, Dr. Dale Bredesen laid out the science behind his revolutionary new program that is the first to both prevent and reverse symptoms of Alzheimer’s disease. Now in The End of Alzheimer’s Program, he lays out the detailed program he uses with his own patients. Accessible and detailed, it can be tailored to anyone’s needs and enhance cognitive ability at any age.
