You should connect with your care provider around two to three times a year. Depending on your need, these visits are typically one to three months apart.

How often will labs be run?

Labs are run once for the initial ReCODE Report. If you enroll in the ReVERSE Program, your practitioner will want to reassess you after your treatment starts and may run another set of labs to see how you are progressing.

What is the estimated cost of baseline blood panel labs?

If you sign-up for an one-time initial ReCODE Report, the mobile blood draw labs are $1,245, except for the following seven states: Rhode Island, New York, Pennsylvania, California, Maryland, Alaska, and Hawaii, where blood-draws must be completed by a lab facility and cost $1,090. However, if you enroll in the ReVERSE program, you can purchase the labs through, for $940 or $780 for individuals residing in Rhode Island, New York, Pennsylvania, California, Maryland, Alaska, or Hawaii.

Does Insurance cover my labs?

Individuals ordering their tests through a trained practitioner may qualify for insurance reimbursement, depending on your insurance coverage and practitioner.

How much will the ReVERSE Program cost me if I join at a later date?

If you’ve already purchased an initial one-time ReCODE Report and then choose to sign up for the monthly ReVERSE Program, you will receive a $300 credit.

Could I run the same tests without the one-time ReCODE Report?

No. The ReCODE Report, created with our proprietary software algorithm, uses a specific set of 140+ factors, labs and cognitive and genetic testing created by Dr. Bredesen. The algorithm provides practitioners and you with individualized options to guide you through your journey to better cognitive health.

How much will supplements cost me per month?

The cost of supplements may range from $150 to $450 per month based on the results on the assessment from your One-time ReCODE Report and your practitioner’s recommendations.

How do I know if this program is right for me?

The data gathered with your first ReCODE Report will let you and your practitioner know about your specific risks for Alzheimer’s disease. Based on these results, both of you can make decisions about the best direction for treatment. If you are already experiencing symptoms of cognitive decline, or have a diagnosis of Alzheimer’s disease, the ReVERSE program is the right option for you. This program is designed for individuals who need more resources to combat cognitive decline or the onset of cognitive decline.

As a prevention participant, can I work with my current physician?

Yes, you can work with your current physician. However, you will need to get your blood work done through the one-time ReCODE Report. And your doctor will need to consult a qualified Bredesen Protocol Practitioner so they can instruct your physician on how to enter the data from your labs into the report.

Is my personal and medical information secure?

How do I receive my initial ReCODE report? 

You can generate your ReCODE report by following the steps below:

  • Go to and register for an account. Then purchase an initial one-time ReCODE Report and enter all of the necessary contact information. We will notify you when a lab test center is located. Once you hear back from us, schedule an appointment at your earliest convenience.
  • Answer all of the required health and personal history questions and assessments on the data entry section. We will contact you when your blood and genome results are processed.
  • Once you have entered all of your results and your tests have been processed, you will be able to generate your personalized report. Please double-check all of the information you entered, since you will not be able to change or correct entered values once you generate a report. Don’t panic if any of your test results are missing; you can enter any missing values then update your report. 
  • Once your report is generated, you will receive a printable PDF of your initial ReCODE Report. We recommend consulting your primary care provider before starting your program.

I’m considering signing up for the ReVERSE program and trying to figure out my budget. What are all the costs I need to consider when participating in the Bredesen Protocol on the ReVERSE program?

The ReVERSE Program is a $75.00 monthly subscription model with a one-year commitment. If you are on this program, the mobile draw blood tests are $945. In the following seven states: Rhode Island, New York, Pennsylvania, California, Maryland, Alaska, and Hawaii, blood-draws must be completed in-person at a lab facility, which will cost $780. Note that there will be added costs to meet with a trained ReCODE practitioner. What is the importance of staying on The Bredesen Protocol once I have made a one-year commitment? 

The personalized treatment recommendations from the protocol consist of a lifestyle change. These changes need to be continued to maintain an effective reversal of cognitive decline and continued improvement.

Why do I need to be signed up through you and then also pay the practitioner?

A qualified Bredesen Trained Practitioner is required and essential for interpreting and entering your lab results into your One-time ReCODE Report. This is done to ensure that your practitioner can adequately assess your treatment plan.

I want to work with my physician since they are willing to support me on The Bredesen Protocol. How can they submit lab results to generate my ReCODE Report on the ReVERSE program?

There isn’t a way for an untrained and unqualified practitioner to enter the lab results into your report, so they need to work with a qualified Bredesen Trained Practitioner. The practitioner will help your physician order the necessary labs, and then will enter the data to generate your ReCODE Reports.

Can I switch practitioners?

Yes, you may add or change ReCODE Practitioners at any time. We have trained practitioners all over the world to help you put together a team you feel comfortable with to assist you with your treatment plan.

I want to work with more than one practitioner. Can I select more than one practitioner in the system?

We encourage you to work with a care team consisting of the practitioner, coach, and nutritionist so they can help you with the tools and resources you need for success.

I live outside the United States; how can I get an initial one-time ReCODE Report?

It is currently not possible to get a one-time ReCODE Report outside of the U.S. Please sign up for our ReVERSE program subscription and locate and select a trained ReCODE Practitioner who can order your labs and enter the results into the software in order to generate your ReCODE Report.

What is the Cancellation policy for the ReVERSE program?

The ReVERSE Program is a one-year commitment. After you make the 12 payments, the subscription is charged on a month-to-month basis. You may cancel your subscription any time after the 12-month commitment has been fulfilled.
