The Argus recently featured Dr. Judy Benjamin as she continues an approximately 550-mile journey from Land’s End to London to raise awareness of Alzheimer’s, brain health, and the potential to address cognitive decline.

Judy was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s at 67. Rather than accepting that nothing could be done, she pursued a personalized approach to her cognitive health and became an early patient of Dr. Dale Bredesen. Today, at 82, she continues to share her experience with others affected by cognitive decline.

The article highlighted the ReCODE Protocol, Apollo Health’s personalized precision-medicine approach designed to identify and address potential contributors to cognitive decline, including nutrition, exercise, sleep and stress. Judy told The Argus that she wants patients and families to understand they can take actions to support brain health. Her walk across England is bringing that message directly to communities along her route as she makes her way toward London.
