New Clinical Trial Shows Personalized Approach Can Improve Memory and Thinking

In a January 26 Apollo Health Town Hall, Dale Bredesen, M.D., was joined by physicians Ann Hathaway, M.D., and Kat Toups, M.D., who shared encouraging results from their newly released randomized controlled clinical trial on early Alzheimer’s disease and mild cognitive impairment. The 2025 randomized controlled trial found that participants following a personalized, root-cause–focused program showed significant improvements in memory, focus, and overall cognitive performance.

They also highlighted that reducing inflammation, improving metabolic health, optimizing sleep, addressing toxins, and receiving coaching support were key to helping participants improve or stabilize cognition.
